Acceptable use policy

Rated Counsel Limited, trading as regSpace ("regSpace"), provides the regSpace platform. This Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) sets out activities that are prohibited when using the platform. It supplements our Terms of service.

Prohibited use

You must not use the Service to:

• Process personal data, confidential information, or privileged material that you are not authorised to process or to share with a processor.
• Submit content that infringes intellectual-property rights, contains malware, or violates applicable law.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, extract, or derive the weights of any model used to deliver the Service, or to bypass model safety controls. regSpace does not own the underlying model weights; the models are operated by our AI sub-processors (Google Vertex AI and Anthropic), and this restriction protects their intellectual property as well as ours.
• Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written consent (see our security page for responsible-disclosure details).
• Generate content intended to defraud, deceive, defame, or unlawfully coerce any person.
• Use outputs as the sole basis for a legal or regulatory decision without qualified-counsel review. This is a misuse of the Service and may violate applicable unauthorised-practice-of-law rules.
• Automate the Service to produce client-facing deliverables without the human-review gates the platform requires. A person must keep or delete each item in a regulatory-change digest before it is acted on, and proposed redlines must be reviewed by a person before they are applied. Bypassing or suppressing these gates is a misuse of the Service.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Service except as expressly permitted in writing.

Enforcement

We may suspend access and investigate suspected breaches. Material or repeated breaches may result in termination without refund. Where legally required, we will report breaches to the appropriate authorities.
